You'll want to chill out with a good book or the TV on in the pretty living room, while Fido sleeps next to the wood burner. Start your day with fresh coffee and rustle up lovely meals in the country-style kitchen, then enjoy them together at the dining table. You can watch TV in bed in both bedrooms, a cosy king, and a pretty twin; the gorgeous contemporary bathroom has a bath and separate shower. Heading outside, the cottage is surrounded by a big garden to relax in, all enclosed so the pup can potter freely, a BBQ for al fresco evenings and a summer house for an afternoon snooze.

Grab the lead and head to the beach (0.5 miles) for a pretty walk along the coast where your pup is welcome to explore any time of year. Enjoy the local wildlife wandering around Corton Woods Nature Reserve, less than 500 metres away. Kids will love the exciting rides, shows and attractions at Pleasurewood Hills theme park (1-mile walk or 2-mile drive) and the exotic animals at Africa Alive Zoo (8.5 miles). Lowestoft (3 miles), the most easterly point in the British Isles, has a great beach, two piers, and theatre, and visit Great Yarmouth (6 miles) to go to the pleasure beach and circus.
