From here, you can make your way along the river to the ancient woodland of Kilminorth (2 miles) for an enchanting walking trail. Once you're done exploring the beaches in this part of Cornwall, Bodmin (19 miles) is well worth a visit to explore a more rural location within the county. Here, you'll find the fascinating history of Bodmin Jail as well as an array of walks on the moors where rare plants and wildlife can be seen in the moorland.
