At either Swanage or Corfe Castle, you can catch the Swanage Steam Railway – a beautiful heritage steam line cutting through the pretty countryside.

Further afield, take a visit to The Blue Pool, Bovington Tank Museum or Poole Harbour.

Fuel the house is all-electric with heating and hot water provided by an air source heat pump. Heating is via water-filled radiators in most rooms controlled by a thermostat in the Hall. The Kitchen and Garden Room have under-floor heating controlled by separate thermostats in each of these two rooms. A large hot water tank provides copious amounts of hot water.
