Crackington Haven itself is a small north Cornwall hamlet located southwards of Bude. The cove beach at Crackington Haven is super sheltered and surrounded by dramatic Cornish headlands and cliffs. You will find a popular pub in the hamlet with a choice of two super cafes (eat in and take away) and two car parks. It is approximately a half a mile walk down hill or a couple of minutes drive to the beach from Hazeldene.

The beach at Crackington Haven is a surfers paradise and during the school holidays is lifeguarded during the day. When the tide is out, endless rock pools appear which the younger members of the family will love to explore.
