Set in a beautiful location in South Cornwall and close to the ancient port of Fowey, 16 miles in a car or 1.5 miles via the Bodinnick ferry. The coastal village of Polruan is 3 miles away, with a passenger ferry to Fowey. Slightly further afield, days out can include trips to Looe and Polperro to the east, and Mevagissey to the west. Walkers will be in their element due to direct access onto a public footpath, and the South West Coast Path nearby. Other attractions accessible from here include the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, and numerous National Trust properties all within 10 miles’ distance.

Enter into the cottage and into a beautiful light and bright lounge complete with traditional beams, wood burner, comfortable seating, integrated Bluetooth speaker and Smart TV. The perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the stunning area. Through to the lovely kitchen/diner complete with dining table and views of the countryside from the kitchen window. The kitchen area is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer and a coffee machine. It’s a lovely place to cook up a meal or pack a lunch for the day’s adventures. Moving upstairs you will find two good size bedrooms. The first is a wonderful king-size with exposed oak beams and fabulous countryside views, the second a lovely light and bright twin room, again with beautiful views of the great outdoors and some original beams. Next door is the shower room with a waterfall shower and WC.

Outside is an enclosed rear garden, accessed by steps, laid to lawn with a patio area complete with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ (coals not provided). With a glimpse of rolling fields, it’s a lovely sun trap to enjoy whilst alfresco dining. Off-road parking for one car opposite the property, additional roadside parking available (subject to availability).
