Brixham has a long-standing maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of it, offering visitors a choice of boat trips from relaxing tours, fishing trips and a regular foot ferry across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There are several beaches within easy reach, including Shoalstone beach with its tidal pool, the town's main Breakwater beach and the quiet St Marys Bay. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Exeter, famed for its stunning cathedral and shopping, The Princess Theatre, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Kent's Cavern, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties.

Step inside this charming cottage on the ground floor where you will find yourself in the cosy living area. Here there is comfortable seating for all the family, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the South Devon coast, perhaps whilst watching a film on the Smart TV, in front of the electric fire on those cooler evenings. Moving to the back of the property and you will find the well-equipped kitchen/diner. The kitchen comprises of a gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. The dining area has seating for six for all to enjoy a meal together. Going up the open tread stairs lead to the first floor you will find two single bedrooms and a zip-and-link twin room which can be made up as a super-king-size upon request, all featuring flatscreen TV’s. There is also a bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC. The master bedroom can be found on the second floor, a large king-size bedroom with exposed beams, benefiting from a Smart TV for those lazy mornings in bed.
