Nearby is the historic Mount Edgcumbe with its 865 acre estate, cafe and gardens. A trip across on the Cremyll Ferry is a must to discover the Royal William Yard. Spectacular views adorn the coastline of the Rame peninsular, including a selection of beaches such as Whitsand Bay and Freathy being the locals favourite. Attractions in the area include the National Marine Aquarium, The Eden Project, Adrenalin Quarry, The Monkey Sanctuary, the Ski centre and the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro.
