Just a mile from a thriving village, you'll have a country store, café and two welcoming pubs with restaurants close at hand. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers and cyclists, with the West Mendip Way and South West Coast Path nearby, offering beautiful routes through rolling landscapes—perhaps with a stop at one of the charming country pubs along the way. Golf and fishing can be enjoyed in the village of Bleadon, while sailing, dry-slope skiing and a range of other outdoor pursuits are available locally. Sandy beaches are within easy reach, with Weston-super-Mare just 3.6 miles away and the quieter sands of Uphill even closer. The location is ideal for days out exploring Brean, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the stunning cathedral city of Wells, Glastonbury Tor, as well as Bath, Bristol and Taunton.

Step inside this single-storey retreat and you're welcomed by a light and airy hallway that leads into a spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. With high ceilings, exposed beams and door that opens out onto the private patio, this is a wonderfully relaxing space to unwind. Sink into the comfortable sofas for a cosy evening in front of the TV, or throw open the doors and let the fresh countryside air drift inside. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, making it easy to prepare leisurely breakfasts or relaxed evening meals using delicious local produce from the nearby farm shop.

The property offers two generous double bedrooms, thoughtfully positioned at opposite ends of the cottage to provide extra privacy. Both bedrooms are equipped with TVs, perfect for a slow morning with a cup of tea while catching up on the day's headlines. A modern wet room with shower and WC is conveniently located off the hallway between the bedrooms.

Outside, enjoy alfresco dining on the enclosed, south-facing private patio with seating. Beyond this, a lovely shared grassy area with picnic tables sits beside a large duck pond, with far-reaching views across the famous Thatcher cider orchards, the Mendip Hills and surrounding paddocks where miniature Shetland ponies graze alongside the resident ducks. Whether you're enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine as the sun sets, this tranquil rural setting is the perfect place to relax and recharge.
