A luxury cottage that sleeps six in the heart of Newlyn, Cornwall, a historic fishing port with a vibrant art and food scene. Located a stroll from the seafront, this renovated stone cottage is set over two floors with a mix with luxury and original features to create comfort in every corner of the living room, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs three bedrooms are made up into a super comfy king size room, double room and bunk room serviced by a family bathroom. Outside a walled courtyard provides space for wet gear and there is a WC downstairs too. No parking at the property but there are plenty of car parks nearby.
Superbly positioned, the cottage is a stone’s throw from Newlyn’s best food spots. The intimate Italian Bridge Bar and Brasserie is just around the corner and here you can enjoy a fusion of fresh local seafood and traditional Italian flavours. Closer still, Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar (and Shack just a couple of doors down) lies across the road so if you fancy indulging in the freshest and most local produce, either to eat in or take away, this is the place!
Stock up on seasonal fruit, veg and freshly baked bread from The Little Green Grocer around the corner, or hop over the small historic bridge opposite the property and visit the independent Riverbank Gallery which showcases and sells arts, jewelry and crafts from local artisans. The fabulous Argoe is 7 minutes’ walk down to the harbourside, while Tolcarne Inn is just down the road, right next to Newlyn’s sea wall and offers a superb seafood dining experience which is perfect for a special occasion or treat…and if you’d like to burn off dessert, from here you can stroll the completely flat section of the South West Coast Path which leads to Penzance, whilst taking in the far-reaching sea views across the bay. For beach days, Marazion’s golden sandy stretch is a 15-minute drive, while the spectacular Sennen Cove is less than 20 minutes and Porthcurno Beach less than 25 minutes.

Guests will need to head pay and display car park near the Penlee Lifeboat Station (a 6-ish minute walk away) and should have plenty of spaces for the duration of your visit. There is another (cheaper) car park called Sandy Cove, which is roughly 15-minutes’ walk. Alternatively, there is street parking around Newlyn but this, of course, cannot be guaranteed and is on a first come first served basis.
