Wootton Gray is a welcoming seaside abode resting in Mousehole, with beautiful seaside views, an enclosed garden, and welcoming interiors. With close by shops, pubs, and stunning beaches, this abode is ideal for exploring Cornwall. The views of the Bay from the sitting room in this fabulous detached property are breathtaking, and can be enjoyed at all times of the year. Step inside to find a bright kitchen, equipped with plenty of amenities, providing everything you need to rustle up meals during your stay. From here, wander into the spacious living/dining area, where you can gather for relaxed evenings beside the woodburning stove or enjoy meals together with views across the garden and beyond.
The lower-ground-floor sitting room offers a second space to unwind, ideal for children or those seeking a quiet corner to enjoy a movie night. Completing the layout are three welcoming ground-floor bedrooms, including two doubles and a twin, served by a ground-floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC, as well as a lower-ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC.
Outside, the enclosed garden, a delightful space to enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink while soaking up the fantastic seaside views across the local area.
Off-road parking for one car is a real treat in Mousehole, and yet the property is within easy walking distance of the village amenities and harbour. The Old Coastguard At Christmas it is the focal point for the famous Mousehole Christmas Lights when the village is illuminated by over 7,000 bulbs. Mousehole is an ideal location from which to explore the Lands End peninsula; walk the south west coast path, surf the waves at Sennen, learn to sail in Marazion or explore the old tin mines perched dramatically on the cliffs below Pendeen. The white sands of Porthcurno, Porthgwarra, Sennen and St Ives should satisfy beach goers whilst garden lovers will be kept happy with a trip to Trengwainton, famous for the early spring blooms of rhododendrons and camellias. For an evening to remember, take a picnic, a blanket and enjoy a moonlit play the Minack Theatre, but be sure to book ahead. The glittering sea as a backdrop, is simply magical! Explore the wonders of Cornwall with a stay at Wootton Gray.
