On the ground floor, discover the first of the two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with plenty of storage for all of your belongings, and mid-way up the stairs you will find a stunning shower room with tasteful tiles and contemporary furnishings. There is also the option of four stunning doubles and one twin bedrooms, some with en-suites and TVs, each with beautiful décor and tasteful furniture, and some allowing for captivating seaside views. With a flexible bedroom layout across two floors, The Old Rectory is well-suited to extended families seeking both shared space and quiet corners to unwind.
Outside, make the most of the sunshine and the salty air, dining alfresco or kicking back in the hammock and outdoor sofas. The fire pit is perfect for relaxed family evenings-please keep gatherings at a respectful volume after 9pm to protect our neighbours’ peaceful enjoyment of their homes.
The hot tub is available for guests’ use until 9pm daily-a lovely way to unwind after a day exploring the coast.
Largs is a delightful seaside town offering a selection of amenities and attractions, including a local beach, convenience stores, eateries, cafes, and pubs, with options including Drouthy Neebors, Nardini’s, and Tinto Tapas Bar. The sandy shoreline is ideal for paddling, picnics and traditional seaside days out, while nearby ferry trips to Great Cumbrae offer an easy adventure for all ages.
Largs also offers a selection of countryside walks, Largs Viewpoint and Largs Golf Club, or there is the option of watersports facilities at Kilbirnie Loch and Skelmorlie. Local walks include those at Glengarnock Castle, Windy Hill, Renfrewshire, and Eglinton Country Park, and the property is also within reach of the bustling city of Glasgow.
