At low tide, a walk around the headland leads past Newquay’s historic Huer’s Hut (1.5 miles) and on towards the town’s seven beaches, from sheltered sandy coves to exposed breaks. The Pentire Headland provides a genuine sense of seclusion, with the dramatic north Cornwall coastline stretching out in both directions.
