A delightful hideaway in the enchanting village of Westleton, this cottage is set in the fringes of the picturesque Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Landscape. Sleeping four guests, the appealing, two-bedroom retreat is also well positioned for wildlife watching and walks through the Westleton Heath Nature Reserve. Historic Dunwich, 2.5 miles away, is known for its beautiful beach and colourful heath. This was once a bustling port but was swept into the sea during a huge storm in medieval times. Plan a day out to vibrant Southwold, 9 miles away, which is famous for its pier, beach huts and myriad of independent shops and eateries. Go crabbing from the quay here and take the rowing boat ferry over to Walberswick during the high season. Spend an afternoon at Snape Maltings, 10 miles away, with its famous concert hall, art galleries, retail outlets, eateries and boat trips along the River Alde.

Step into this exquisite cottage via the covered front door and make your way to the inviting lounge. Here you can choose between two comfortable sofas as you regroup after your latest adventure and catch up on the events of the day. Settle in here with a good book, peruse the brochures you have collected on your most recent excursion or surf the channels of the Smart TV. Continue on through the cottage into the well-equipped kitchen/diner, with its country cream cabinets and wooden work surfaces. Unpack the local delicacies you have sourced and conjure up hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches and celebratory dinners to sit down to at the table. There is also a convenient WC downstairs. When you are ready to turn in for the night, climb the stairs to the first floor of the cottage, where your two welcoming bedrooms are positioned. Here you have an inviting king-size, with ample storage for your holiday wear, and a bunk bedroom that is perfect for youngsters. The family bathroom is also at this level.

Enjoy the enclosed suntrap garden to the maximum during the spring and summer months. Cook out on the BBQ and watch the children play on the grass. This cottage comes with private parking for one car.
