Tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Langton Herring, Hazel Copse Cottage occupies a uniquely peaceful position on the edge of our 70-acre environmental farm on the Dorset coast. More than 25 years ago, the owners began restoring the land by reintroducing native grasses and wildflowers, creating a rich mosaic of meadows, orchards, wide hedgerows and dry stone walls that has slowly matured into a haven for wildlife. Overlooking a hazel wood and apple orchard, and with the South West Coast Path just steps from the door, Hazel Copse offers a calm and deeply relaxing escape in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt corners of Dorset.

From countryside to coast, the bustling seaside town of Weymouth, 6 miles away, is home to a gloriously golden beach dotted with colourful deckchairs and a stunning harbour. Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, uncover hundreds of years of history at Nothe Fort, 7 miles away, and enjoy views towards the Isle of Portland and across Weymouth Bay.

Everything is at your fingertips in the spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Stunning ceiling beams and gorgeous exposed brickwork reflect the rich heritage of this former barn, whilst a wonderful skylight floods the space with natural sunlight. Boasting plush seating, a farmhouse-style dining set and a country cottage kitchen, there's room for the whole party to unwind, cook and dine with loved ones. A few steps up lead into the blissful double bedroom, which enjoys wonderfully green views for you to wake up to, as well as a stylish en-suite shower room. Back through the open-plan living space, you'll find a door leading to the lovely twin bedroom, which boasts stunning exposed brickwork and a beamed ceiling. The contemporary family bathroom is the perfect spot to wash off after a long walk.

Soak up your fresh, countryside air by enjoying a spot of al fresco dining with your morning coffee or a sundowner on the terrace, which boasts a BBQ grill, perfect for entertaining. Freely stroll the South West Coast Path and the other footpaths across the 70-acre wild meadow farm. There's also a hazel wood, an apple orchard and a large grassy playing area to enjoy. There is parking for two cars available in the shared car park with the other property on-site.
